Here we go.

Here we go. The web has another blog. What to say…yes…my beloved Richmond Tigers are playing their first game today in the AFL competition. I won’t be going though. I am making my little statement today on ridiculous membership price rises and the AFL’s strategy of turning a good game into yet another corporate event. Good old ‘Auntie’ will be getting my undivided attention. The VFL is looking very attractive now. Methinks it is time to go local. Give the big boys a kick up the arse, well, just deprive them of my $15 entrance fee anyway.
I have a fair bit of study to do today. I successfully wasted a beautiful Saturday yesterday. The highlight of yesterday was pulling down a huge tarpaulin which covered the backyard. (T’was erected for my flatmate Fiona’s birthday party last weekend). Whilst removing it I had to climb onto the roof to untie it and got a very interesting view of my suburb, Clifton Hill. Everyone should try climbing onto their roof at least once a month. It puts you in perspective as to where you are in your surroundings. I didn’t realise how close I was to the city. Anyway, I was saying before that I have to study. Spanish language. Very enjoyable and I am coping with it extremely well. I’m studying at Latrobe University in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Will be starting Computer Science subjects next semester, arghhh! Have I left it too late though? 28 yo and just starting University. Oh well.
