It is obvious that the Blog People read what they want to read rather than what is in front of them and judge me to be wrong on the basis of what they think rather than what I actually wrote. Given the quality of the writing in the blogs I have seen, I doubt that many of the Blog People are in the habit of sustained reading of complex texts. It is entirely possible that their intellectual needs are met by an accumulation of random facts and paragraphs. In that case, their rejection of my view is quite understandable.
Dear Mr Ed – with regard to ‘blog people’ – I am intrigued by the overlapping circles/milieus of the blog community, and study links lists within my own blog community. a lot of us have become offblog friends. there are blogs reflecting the Woman’s Day section of our society, but there is also the revered Barista, and The Spin Starts Here, Anonymous Lefty, and if you want the really complicated texts, give Laputan Logic a try. I have come here from reading The Guardian which generally starts my day, then I check Aust Blogs to see if anybody good has updated and you were first. Hi!.
Well hello Brownie!!! Welcome.
